Words you can hold.

A soft penguin with a little envelope on its chest. Tap your phone to the heart, and a letter from someone you love opens.

A letter that never runs out.

You write. They tap. The penguin keeps your words close, and there’s always room for the next one.

The top of the phone to the red heart. That’s the whole trick.

Good questions.

Anything else? Write to us at hello@milusu.com.

How does the tap work?

There’s a small NFC tag inside the envelope on the penguin’s chest. Hold the top of your phone to the red heart and a page opens in your browser. The envelope opens on screen, and the letter is inside: words, a photo, or both.

Which phones work?

Works with modern iPhones and NFC-enabled Android phones.

Does it need batteries or charging?

No. The tag is passive, so there are no batteries and nothing to charge.

Can I write more than one letter, or change what they read?

Yes, as often as you like. Write a new letter at any time and it waits for the next tap. Each tap opens the next letter.

If nothing new is waiting, they’ll find a letter from the penguin itself.

Who can send letters?

Everyone has their own penguin and their own account. Anyone with a MILUSU penguin can write to anyone else who has one, once you’ve added each other as friends. Letters go both ways, for as long as you keep writing.

Do we need an app?

No. MILUSU runs in the phone’s web browser, so there’s nothing to download, whether you’re writing a letter or reading one.

When does it ship?

We’ll email presale guests first with dates and details. No dates are set yet.

Is it safety-tested?

Yes. Centre Testing International, a CPSC-accepted laboratory, tested the penguin against ASTM F963-23 and the applicable CPSIA requirements, and every applicable test passed. A Children’s Product Certificate is on file. See the full list, or email us for the documentation.
